The world is increasingly speaking a digital language (Castells, 2014). Technological, sociocultural, environmental, subjective, and collective lifestyle changes are constantly and rapidly transforming. The influence of new technologies, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the development directions promoted by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) are producing pervasive effects of digitization, notably in healthcare (Massaro, 2022). Based on the results of a scoping review and ongoing qualitative research on telerehabilitation practices as experienced by elderly patients, caregivers, and healthcare practitioners, in this contribution we will reflect on how a critical pedagogical approach and educational work are essential to implement pathways of care in telemedicine, specifically in telerehabilitation. These pathways should be aimed at more than acquiring technical information and training in the use of technological devices. Instead, alongside new knowledge and professions, they should create opportunities for inclusion and the right to health for frail individuals.

Abstract
Instead, alongside new knowledge and professions, they should create opportunities for inclusion and the right to health for frail individuals.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
