Despite recognized needs for women’s full participation and fair leadership in political and economic decisions, notable gender gaps persist. This study examines gender equality, inclusivity, and opportunities in Italian life sciences companies. An ad hoc questionnaire was completed by HR professionals in this sector, capturing insights on women’s roles, responsibilities, and seniority in management and on boards. It also aims to forecast the future integration of female leadership and assesses supportive company policies like flexible schedules, part-time options, remote work, and family-centric initiatives.
