This paper presents the development of two visual editing tools that support the end-users in easily customizing the active documents of the WoAD framework, both in their structure and the rule-based active behaviors, to better support their daily work practices. After summarizing the studies that inspired WoAD, the paper illustrates the expected goals of this work, some implementation details and the expected contributions.
