The article intends to contribute with a reflection on education for democratic citizenship. It will be presented the educational training designed by the Embodied Pedagogy research team of University of Milano-Bicocca within the project S.P.A.C.E., which was selected in Italy by the social enterprise “Con i Bambini” and promoted by the non-profit organisation “WeWorld Onlus” in the framework of “The Fund Against Educational poverty In Children and in Youth”. The project aims to improve the social and scholastic conditions of adolescent commuter students who live in isolated areas of Italy at high risk of school drop-out and educational poverty.
