The aim of this paper is to show the way Regional Labour Market Observatory of Lombardy Region monitors geografical mobility of workers from, toward and wothin the region. After a brief description of the statistical information sistem in use, we show some examples of analysis, starting from a conceptualisation of the grographical mobility in a regional perspective. Then, characteristics of "mobile workers" will be studied with a particular focus on the youth who move from, toward and within the Lombardy Region. Finally, concluding remarks will be derived, with particular attention to the utility of the analysis for policy makers and the regional stakeholders.

Abstract
