Abstract

Concerns about the ways in which the Internet might affect the cognitive and emotional functioning of human beings have been raised since its origins. The present paper combines pieces of knowledge gathered from the neurosciences, from sociological evidences, from empirical field research on Home School Community Partnership (HSCP), and from the historical development of the Web, in order to provide a rationale for building new strategies for HSCP.
