The paper illustrates theoretically the notion of 'linguistic unease' within the debate of (socio)linguistic justice. Here we analyse the sociolinguistic implications of the notion, focusing on the multilingual complex in which communicative interactions take place. The notion is discussed through the proposal of an interpretative framework that enucleates the contexts in which discomfort emerges and suggests predictive indicators for its identification.

Abstract
The paper illustrates theoretically the notion of 'linguistic unease' within the debate of (socio)linguistic justice. Here we analyse the sociolinguistic implications of the notion, focusing on the multilingual complex in which communicative interactions take place. The notion is discussed through the proposal of an interpretative framework that enucleates the contexts in which discomfort emerges and suggests predictive indicators for its identification.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
