After an attempt of definition proposal, some typical and frequently occurring anthroscapes in the Italian Alps are here examined. By referring to the original landscapes, such man-made landscapes are divided into positive/ameliorative and sustainable, by one hand, and worsening/negative and unsustainable by the other hand, depending on the type of impact should have generated them.
