The book presents a theoretical-practical model of adult education, rooted in complexity and systems theories. The metaphor of "oeuvre", as an infinite construction/composition, crosses the whole book, referring to a panoply of studies and publications from different fields and disciplines. The taxt is complex, pedagogical and trans-disciplinary, theoretical and rich with case studies, empirical qualitative data and reports of concrete experiences; it aims to general issues however it is largely written in the first person, as suggested by autoethnography, a qualitative methodology for critical and performative inquiry. The book follows the four phases of cooperative inquiry, as a method for education and research; it becomes then an example itself of embodied, aesthetic, compositional research, devoted to transformative pedagogical and educational projects. The metaphor of "oeuvre" sustains a description of educational work as an infinite material and symbolic composition, rooted in the body and in aesthetic languages, focused on the production of satisfying theories/knowledge and shared practices. The training of educators demands innovative models and theories, as well as methods to trigger transformative processes, that can make a difference and change emotions, values, and ideas, to influence relationships and contexts, organizational processes and, in time, social and cultural systems. The "spiral of knowledge" is a complex model for education and research, developed with educators, pedagogists, teachers, professionals in health, counselors. The text offers many examples, operative suggestions, conceptual analyses and occasions for personal reflexivity.

Abstract
The text offers many examples, operative suggestions, conceptual analyses and occasions for personal reflexivity.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
