Abstract
The paper analyzes IRT. 304: this is a dedication to Mercury and Minerva by sacerdos Tullus who paid his vow with the money he received from Boccius Copo in lieu of taking action iniuriarum, following the decree of the proconsul Marcellus who had judged Boccius as a kalumniator. After the comparison of the texts over the infamia deriving from the pact of a penal action and the examination of the trial before the proconsul, it’s demonstrated in Africa Proconsularis AD 136-137 the inseparable link between law, religion, consideration and money. Parole chiave: transazione, infamia, calunnia, processo provinciale, actio iniuriarum.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
