The inversion algorithm relies on the properties of complete families attached to the Helmholtz equation. Expansion coefficients in the approximate representation of the scattered wave on the obstacle boundary and in the far zone are related by affine transformations. Error analysis is carried out by introducing the ``trusted method'', suggested by a T-matrix scheme. Numerical results are provided to support the estimates.

Abstract
The inversion algorithm relies on the properties of complete families attached to the Helmholtz equation. Expansion coefficients in the approximate representation of the scattered wave on the obstacle boundary and in the far zone are related by affine transformations. Error analysis is carried out by introducing the ``trusted method'', suggested by a T-matrix scheme. Numerical results are provided to support the estimates.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
