The importance of the topic is due to the high and rising penetration of the Polish tobacco market and to Poland’s important role in the illicit traffic of tobacco products to the EU. Increasing concerns about illicit tobacco have spurred an increase in the fight against the ITTP and the launching of the second national strategy in 2012
