Uno, nessuno e centomila: gli standard di tutela della libertà religiosa a livello europeo

This contribution aims to explore the standards of protection of religious freedom in Europe and, more specifically, the role played by the margin of appreciation and/or discretion granted to States within the oversight exercised by the Strasbourg and Luxembourg Courts in safeguarding religious freedom. While there are certainly many differences between the two Courts when faced with potential violations of religious freedom within their margin of appreciation, many similarities also emerge.
