The article presents an analysis of the accessibility of extraordinary reception centers in Italian metropolitan cities with the aim of detecting potential inequalities and risks of exclusion linked to the phenomena of peripheralisation, marginalization and invisibilisation of the reception system and policies in Italy. Thanks to the availability of original data on the universe of CAS in different time periods, the results have allowed us to highlight the impact of policy changes and policies on accessibility and the characteristics of the reception system in Italy.

Abstract
