Several Governments in Europe started their own Plans of E-Government with the goal of increasing the amount and the quality of the service offered to their customers (citizens, enterprises, profit and no-profit organizations) via the Internet. In such a streamline, this paper presents Public Employment Services in the approach undertaken in the European Employment Information System, through the SEEMP (Single European E-Market Place) Project. The main goals, vision, and technical solutions of the project are presented, with special focus on integration of existing nodes of Employment Support Systems.
