We present the results of a test performed on double gap Resistive Plate Counters (RPC) operating with low percentage isobutane mixtures. The measured parameters will be compared to those obtained in the same cosmic rays test with RPC operating in standard gas mixture conditions. The detectors are equipped with a new 63 MHz parallel readout system optimized to handle RPC signals in accelerator physics environment.

Abstract
