The European Union has set ambitious targets for renewable energy generation by 2030. This study analyzes the current state of renewable energy deployment for accelerating the transition to a greener economy. By emulating the best practices of frontrunner countries, the EU can significantly reduce the gap to te 2030 targets. These findings have important implications for policymakers and energy utilities.
