Human sciences aren’t worried about the big explosion of counseling processes. But pedagogy should be interested in studying human, social and cultural effects of that explosion. If counseling success is linked to an heavy social confusion, pedagogy should also understand how to orient social and educational processes. Today, pedagogical counseling is often confused with other counseling actions, and is unable to change educational situations. So, new teorical foundations and new reasoning levels are necessary.
La forte espansione delle consulenze non preoccupa le scienze umane. La pedagogia, però, dovrebbe studiare gli effetti umani, sociali e culturali di tale fenomeno. E, se alla base del successo delle consulenze c’è un grave disorientamento sociale, dovrebbe capire come orientare i processi socialied educativi. La consulenza pedagogica, in particolare, si confonde con altri generi di consulenze, e non riesce a trasformare radicalmente le situazioni educative. Sono quindi necessari nuovi fondamenti teorici e nuovi livelli di ragionamento.
