In this paper an analytical procedure to design the single-opamp active-RC Rauch biquadratic cells is presented. The design procedure optimizes the trade-off between the opamp input referred noise and the thermal noise due to the filter resistors, in order to minimize the current consumption. The proposed procedure is validated by means of a benchmark of a biquadratic cell for an UMTS and WLAN applications. The design is realized using the 0.13 mu m CMOS technology with a 1.2V supply voltage

Abstract
In this paper an analytical procedure to design the single-opamp active-RC Rauch biquadratic cells is presented. The design procedure optimizes the trade-off between the opamp input referred noise and the thermal noise due to the filter resistors, in order to minimize the current consumption. The proposed procedure is validated by means of a benchmark of a biquadratic cell for an UMTS and WLAN applications. The design is realized using the 0.13 mu m CMOS technology with a 1.2V supply voltageI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
