The psychological impact of the occupation and political violence is especially relevant in the most vulnerable groups (women, children, and adolescents), working with them, especially the children and adolescents should be a priority; this critical study will aim to investigate the Gaps between what is MHPSS intervention aim to, and the actual needs and aspirations of the Palestinian Children in West Bank’s Schools. In this critical study, the researcher used qualitative methodology by conduct 31 interviews with principals, school counselors, experts, researchers, local NGOs, and international NGOs. And 9 focus groups with children, teachers, and parents. Both focus groups and interviews were Semi-structured. And critically analyze selecting representative databases and datasets within public, community-based, and international bodies for strategic plans, annual reports, and guidelines. To answer these questions: - what are the actual needs and aspirations of the Palestinian children? - Are different MHPSS intervention programs fulfill these needs and aspirations? - Are there any other gaps between different layers (between donor strategy and the children, etc.)? Result and conclusion: it will discuss perceptions, perspectives, and concerns of the Palestinian children living under occupation. From the point of view of children and also from the point of view of adults. Which also discusses the MHPSS intervention program implementing in the West Bank. Finally, concerning the Gaps between MHPSS mainstream programs aims and objectives and current needs and aspirations of the Palestinian Children.
