Abstract
The APE project was started in 1984 by a group of theoretical physicist. In this project, the design and construction of a parallel computer optimized for lattice quantum chromo dynamics (LQCD) was submitted to INFN for funding. The result was the APE computer. The development of this machine set a new standard of precision at the end of the 80s.File in questo prodotto:
