Una storia imprevista. Femminismi del Novecento ed educazione

This volumet presents and analyzes the thought of the exponents of the movements of women of the early decades of the Twentieth century, with particular regard to the educational issues present in this thought. It offers writings and documents appeared in newspapers, magazines, leaflets etc. found through archival research, belonging to the period 1900-1930: they deal with the education of girls and women, the professional profile and teacher training, the protection of minors, motherhood. For the first time, documents are collected and commented which constitute testimonies of an extraordinary intellectual vitality and of great relevance with regard to the questions on education that have gone through the twentieth century.

Il testo presenta e analizza il pensiero delle esponenti dei movimenti delle donne dei primi del Novecento, con particolare riguardo alle tematiche educative presenti in tale pensiero. Propone scritti e documenti apparsi su giornali, riviste, volantini etc. reperiti attraverso una ricerca d'archivio, appartenenti al periodo 1900-1930: essi affrontano i temi dell'educazione delle bambine e delle donne, del profilo professionale e della formazione delle insegnanti, della tutela dei minori, della maternità. Per la prima volta sono raccolti e commentati scritti che costituiscono testimonianze di una straordinaria vitalità intellettuale e di grande attualità relativamente agli interrogativi sull'educazione che hanno attraversato il Novecento.
