In this note we describe a method for the online correction of laser fluctuations that can be applied in the measurements of the fluorescence correlation measurements. The correction is performed by feeding a signal that varies with the laser output to the digital acquisition board as an external clock reference. (C) 2000 American Institute of Physics.
