From Smart City to Sharing City. New Perspectives in the Sharing Economy Era

With an approach focused on the detection of every nuance of the sharing economy panorama, the present work tries to deepen the phenomenon, and the possible replies of local government and Public Administrations to its spread, so that it can actually be a sustainable solution in the current economic, environmental and relational crisis. The book presents the concept and explores the governance approach that cities can adopt to face the challenge of the sharing economy in the urban context, analyzing the evolution of the smart city in a sharing city.
