The adoption of case-based reasoning could be useful in the development of creative knowledge environments. In fact, it is one of the most suitable to reproduce decision making processes according to the reasoning by analogy paradigm. Given that analogies, and distant analogies in particular, are strictly connected to human creativity, case-based reasoning would result a good approach to provide knowledge artifacts with the capability to solve intrinsically creative problems. This is an important research topic in knowledge artifacts research: to this aim the paper will introduce CKS-Net, a conceptual and computational framework to manage with creative problems and domains, from both the theoretical and practical perspective.

Abstract
The adoption of case-based reasoning could be useful in the development of creative knowledge environments. In fact, it is one of the most suitable to reproduce decision making processes according to the reasoning by analogy paradigm. Given that analogies, and distant analogies in particular, are strictly connected to human creativity, case-based reasoning would result a good approach to provide knowledge artifacts with the capability to solve intrinsically creative problems. This is an important research topic in knowledge artifacts research: to this aim the paper will introduce CKS-Net, a conceptual and computational framework to manage with creative problems and domains, from both the theoretical and practical perspective.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
