Dentist and Dental Higyenist cooperation is strategical for an appropriate treatment of the pedo-orthodontic patient. In our University this kind of synergy was applied to caries prevention and to the initial identification of dental-maxillo-facial malformations in childhood. At the same time only a team approach allowed us to correctly treat complex cases such as hemato-oncological patients.
