The paper presents an analysis of the empowering potential of using creative approaches and new tools in narrative workshops. In our work we introduce some tools that, we believe, can offer new perspectives to adults who make their way through a transformational learning process. In this contribution we mainly concentrate on the epistemological and theoretical premises: we therefore present the concepts we rely on to understand how this creative potential works. Further on, we explain the functioning of tome tools we choose - the Pecha Kucha art of presentation, the Photo-language, the Caviardage, and two sets of cards conceived for storytelling. In the final part, by way of conclusion, we present some implementations we are testing of some of those tools, and offer a critical perspective on our experiences with participants of our training. The aim of this paper is to use our crossed visions and experiences for conceiving new paths for adult education settings.

Abstract
