The objectives of this research are the following: OB1: a brief overview of Human Rights principles within sustainability issues and a summary of the main previous studies; OB2: an assessment of this type of disclosure through the analysis of ESG (Environmental Social and Governance) issues disclosed in corporate reports of a sample of European listed companies belonging to the Oil & Gas industry; OB3: an evaluation of the influence exerted by sustainability and reporting practices according to CSR, as well as firm performance and corporate governance model on companies’ respect for HRs.
